MWSCAS Best Student Paper Contest

And the 2023 winners are ....

• First place ($600) to Jungyoun Kwak of Georgia Tech for A Reconfigurable Monolithic 3D Switched-Capacitor DC-DC Converter with Back-End-of-Line Oxide Channel Transistor, Jungyoun Kwak, Wantong Li and Shimeng Yu

• Second place ($450) to Abed Benbuk of Arizona State University for Wireless Stimulation of Motor Cortex Using an Ultra-Thin Implant Fabricated on Parylene/PDMS, Abed Benbuk, Daniel Gulick, Diogo Moniz-Garcia, Shiyi Liu, Alfredo Quinones-Hinojosa and Jennifer Blain Christen

• Third place ($350) to Xi Li of Georgia Tech for Maximum Power-Point Theory for Thermoelectric Harvesters, Xi Li, Gabriel A. Rincon-Mora

• Finalists included Nishith Chakraborty (U Tennessee Knoxville), Md Mazharul Islam (U Tennessee Knoxville), Bardia Nadimi (U S Florida), Lakshmi Varshika Mirtinti (Drexel)

MWSCAS 2023 will continue the longstanding MWSCAS tradition of holding a Best Student Paper Contest. To be eligible, papers must be accepted to MWSCAS, have at least one student author, and must be presented in-person at the conference by a student author. 

Finalists will be presented by the student author at a special Student Paper Contest session which will be help during the MWSCAS Technical Program. First, second, and third place awards will be selected by a panel of judges.
